Forget everything you think you know about Beaujolais. Well, almost everything.

A week before the annual Beaujolais Nouveau frenzy, we’re taking a different route. No rush to drink the latest vintage, no dismissing Gamay as just easy-drinking glou glou. Instead, we’re digging a little deeper into one of France’s most underrated wine regions.

Join Richard from L’Art du Vin as we explore the more serious side of Beaujolais, revisiting some of its celebrated Crus and discovering wines with structure, depth and a whole lot of character. From the floral charm of Fleurie to the darker, more brooding side of Morgon and Moulin-à-Vent, these are bottles that deserve a place at the dinner table, not just at the party.

Expect five cracking wines, a few surprises, and a fresh appreciation for what Gamay can do when it gets the chance to show off.
